SLIP sources location information from across the public sector and beyond, so you spend less time discovering more.
Delivered by Landgate on behalf of the State, SLIP is the WA Government's platform for sharing location-based (or spatial) information and is a key mechanism in supporting the State’s Open Data Policy. Dozens of government agencies use SLIP to provide location information to the public, researchers, business and government.
SLIP provides a wide range of maps, web services (APIs) and data downloads. Get started by exploring SLIP public services or use Locate to quickly and easily view SLIP public services in a map.
Some data is only available by subscription, or is restricted for use between agencies. To enquire about access, search the dataset on Data WA and select Request Access.
